Leesa & Ray had the brightest May wedding here about a month ago and it was the most beautiful, sunny day! It was as if spring walked right through our front doors because of the colorful flowers Leesa chose for her bouquets and centerpieces. Leesa & Ray had a sweet ceremony and reception at the HPO but they travelled elsewhere for their cocktail hour. Want to know where? Scroll down to see! Leesa & Ray exchanged meaningful letters and gifts before seeing each other – it was a precious moment! Jeff’s Flowers created a beautiful aisle way and flower arch for the ceremony. The bride & groom enjoyed some moments with their family & wedding party post-ceremony. Then they headed across the street. Did you know that a few minutes walk away from the HPO there’s a LOVE sign and the Virginia Air & Space Museum? Not only great photo opportunities, but great tourist attractions for your out-of-town guests!
But the exploring wasn’t over yet! Leesa & Ray held their cocktail hour at the Hampton Carousel. The Hampton Carousel is a blast from the past and one of only 70 antique carousels that exists in the United States. Preserved & restored to its original glory, this 1920s masterpiece was a hit for this couple’s cocktail hour! The guests travelled back to The Historic Post Office and enjoyed yummy cupcakes and a night of dancing!
